Tok-Sen (hammer therapy)

Tok means to hit and Sen means line and refers to energy pathways. This therapy has its ancient roots in the northern of Thailand (called Lanna region). A mallet and wedge made of hardwood, gently (with two three or four consecutive) taps (medium strength) and by continuously working along the lines of the body, the therapist intermittently integrates the taps with limited massage and stretches from traditional Thai massage approach. Penetrating vibrations resonate through deep layers of tissue and bones, relieving stiffness, pain and efficiently releases blockages- thereby significantly increasing flows- within the lines and the whole body.

Swedish Massage (uses cream or oil)

The long, gliding strokes of Swedish Massage stimulate the nervous system. With the resulting increase of oxygen to the blood, built-up toxins and metabolic wastes are filtered out.

Thai Massage (mat or table)

Long considered a medical treatment in Thailand, Thai Massage recipients remain clothed and receive deep-pressure work using thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet. Informed by Sen-Sib Theory, the massage therapist releases blockages along ten energy pathways called “sen”. Sometimes referred to as “lazy man’s yoga” as a result of its assisted stretches and compressions. Thai Massage loosens muscles through movement and rejuvenates through strategic pressure.

Deep Tissue Massage (uses cream or oil)

Targets deep connective tissue for relief of muscle injuries and spasms, and for improvement in posture. Muscles push back at the application of pressure, signaling release as the therapist continues working the rest of the muscle.

Combo massage (DT or Swedish and Thai)

Deep Tissue Massage targets the connective tissue of the muscles for relief of muscle injuries and spasms, and for improvement in posture. Muscles push back at the application of pressure, signaling release as the therapist continues working the rest of the muscle, Swedish Massage, the long, gliding strokes of Swedish Massage stimulate the nervous system. With the resulting increase of oxygen to the blood, built-up toxins and metabolic wastes are filtered out.  Thai Massage passive-assisted stretches encourage recipients to reach the edge of their flexibility without exceeding their comfort level.

Thai Massage // Herbal Ball

In Thai, “luuk bpra khohp samoon phrai” means to massage with heat and medicinal herbs. A blend of healing herbs is assembled according to Thai herbal recipes, wrapped in muslin, then steamed and applied to the skin to relieve muscle aches and swelling.

Couples Massage

An unusually rejuvenating date! The couple lies side by side in a cozy environment, each person choosing a table or mat. An optional curtain offers privacy.

The reflexology offers rejuvenation, detoxification and restoration of balance. Manipulation of specific areas of the soles trigger a reflex reaction in a corresponding part of the body.

Upper Body Massage
